dispassionate condition. Also known as renunciation.Vaasana Latent impressions of feeling created by an experience, but not producing direct results like karmasaya. VALAYATA Sphere of closeness to God. Actually this refers to the condition of the
aspirant in the Brahmanda or Macrocosmic region. VANARA Monkey. The hill tribes of Southern India, who formed an alliance with the hero of the Epic, are represented as Vanaras. VEDA The most ancient and holiest scriptures of the Hindus. VEDA The greatest and most profound spiritual literature of world
spirituality; of philosophia perennis. There are four Vedas, Rg, Yagus, Saama,
and Atharvana with their brahmanas and aranyakas belonging to different branches
or sakhas. The yajus samhita itself has two rescensions, the Krisna (Black) and
