Report on functioning of Imperience (2012-2013)

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We are happy to gather today on this auspicious occasion of the birthday of Dr.K.C.Varadachari, the 30th day of the month of Varada in the 141st year of the Lalaji Era.

The centre was started in 2002 with the objective of educating aspirants in the Natural Path. Towards this end we have been conducting introductory courses in Pranahuti Aided Meditation, training programs for abhyasis, workshops, seminars and formal / informal interactive sessions on PAM.

It is gratifying to note the message of the Master is reaching more hearts every day.  We have more number of people visiting Imperience to get spiritually benefitted and assist in our research activities.  As part of the preparatory process for assisting them better, Imperience is requesting people who are planning to visit, details regarding the purpose of visit, completed pind desh tool, basic and detailed evaluations of the commandments.  Abhyasis visiting Imperience are also requested to take the inner balance scan and the brain.exe analysis once a year atleast.

Training Programmes for Freshers

The institute conducts training programs for freshers on Second Saturday and Sunday of every month at most centres.  The information regarding the training programmes is done through advertisements in newspapers.  Imperience requests abhyasis to inform interested persons about the training programs.

Training programs are regularly held at Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Tirupati, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Pune and Delhi in India, Fremont, San Franscisco, Austin, Florida and Virginia in the United States and London in the United Kingdom.

This year two new training centres were started at Bommanahalli, Bangalore and Cupertino, California

In all a total of 97 training programs were conducted during the year.  In response towards the training programs being conducted, this year 300 persons attended the training programs and of these 117 persons were introduced into the system.

Training Program for Abhyasis

A five day training program for abhyasis was conducted this year from October 22nd to 26th at Satkama High School, Hyderabad.

The program started on the 22nd of October.  8 abhyasis attended the program.  The topics that were covered during the program were on Goal of Life, Viveka and Vairagya, Super consciousness of Inferior type, Interdependence, Devotion, Prayer, Surrender, Constant Remembrance, Balanced existence and Attitudes for sadhana.

All the speakers presented their allocated topics well and the topics were well received by the abhyasis.  The program has been of immense help to the participants.  Each participant submitted a detailed report with regard to the coverage of topic, general comments about the program and any changes suggested.  The abhyasis were active in participation during the coverage of the topics as well as during other times of the day.

There were 2 satsangs conducted on each day. The satsangs were conducted by Sri. S.S.Reddy, Sri. J. M. Sarma, Sri. Vidyadhar Joshi, Sri. K. C. Srihari and Dr. K. Madhava.  The satsangs conducted daily has helped the abhyasis in remembering the Master more. 

Diaries of all the participants were reviewed during the course every day before starting the topic and abhyasis were assisted in expressing their feelings better.  Coverage of this topic especially has helped them and all of them have firmly decided that diary writing will be implemented strictly henceforth. 

Abhyasis expressed happiness and immensely benefitted from all the sessions.  The abhyasis expressed that this training program has made them aware and equipped to pursue their sadhana with the essential seriousness and sincerity.

They expressed that the material and interactive discussion gave them a much needed framework for understanding the values, attitudes, feelings and practices one must develop and adhere to for progress.

The next program is planned for October 2013 at Satkama High School.  Details of the program will be circulated soon.

Manasarovar Activity

The Manasarovar program was started in 2006 to generate more interest from abhyasis to experience the language of Silence

The purpose of the Manasarovar program is to help abhyasis

·         Develop the capacity to inter-commune with Nature by learning the language of silence.

·         Develop the capacity to be identical with Nature by living in Natural surroundings.

Two Manasarovar programs were conducted at Narsingapuram Village, near Tirupati.

The first program was conducted from October 25th to 27th, 2012

The following brothers participated in the program

·    The second program was conducted from December 22nd to 24th, 2012

·         Sri. M. Nagasubba Reddy(Tirupati)

·         Sri. V. Kullai Reddy(Tirupati)

·         Sri. Suresh V. Kulkarni (Pune)

The participants expressed that it is a good opportunity for improving their sadhana.  They felt that it is a unique experience to be in silence for the duration. The learning of interdependency in nature by observing the surroundings was also expressed by the participants

Personality Development program for children ages 15- 17

One personality development program was conducted for children aged between 15 -17 years from 21st January 2013 to 25th January 2013.  10 Children attended the training course for the full period.

The objectives of this course is

·         To assist the children in developing a proper goal of life, to achieve stress free living, to assist in developing optimal performance in all walks of life, to develop proper attitudes and values in life

Topics covered in the course were

·         Life and its meaning, Goal of life, Role of Meditation in achieving our goal, Activities for improving focus, Time management, Health Management

The children were taught to meditate on supposition of Divine Light in the heart and there was a 30 minutes meditation session on each day.  Trataka was introduced as a tool for developing focus.  The quiz on procrastination was also given to students.  Students also took the brain.exe self assessment test to help them understand the style of learning most effective for them.

During the course, children wrote a report on each day articulating their reflection on the topic that was explained.  Based on the reports received, all children articulated their understanding of topics like Goal of life, Happiness, Contentment, Moderation and Balance and Peer Pressure. In their reports they have also expressed how they would apply the understanding their own lives. It is satisfying to note that they were very receptive and sensitive to these topics. They also reported their feelings after meditation on Divine Light.  The reports indicate that they have correctly learnt the technique of meditation on supposition of Divine Light. The major feelings that were reported were happy, peaceful, calmness, freshness, stress free and relaxed.

For successful completion of the course, the children were awarded a participation certificate.  The next course is planned for January 2014.  Imperience requests abhyasis to inform interested parents about these programs

The booklet Srimad Bhagavad Gita in the light of the Natural Path was also reprinted during the Janmastami celebrations.

The books and periodicals published by SriRamchandra Publishers and Imperience are also published on our website.  This year, our site www.sriramchandra.org had about 433 people visiting our website daily and accessing 8021 files every day.  Our site www.imperience.org had about 164 people visiting our website daily and accessing 1317 files every day.  Our Sriramchandra.org daily inspiration reaches 850 people every day and Dr. KCV.org daily inspiration reaches 548 people.

Imperience also would like to remind abhyasis who have email accounts in the sriramchandra.org domain to check their email atleast once every 3 months.  The email accounts for such people who do not check regularly are disabled by the email provider and removed after a certain time.

They are also requested to use these email accounts while communicating to Rev. Sir and Imperience as there is a possibility of the email being filtered otherwise. 

Work done by Imperience last year

·         The second edition of ‘Three truths and Trillion doubts’ was  completed and released in August 2012

·         A few unpublished talks in telugu given by Rev. Sri. K.C.Narayana were transcribed and published in Satyapadhamu

·         A collection of ‘tales of ancient india’ was compiled and is planned to be published

·         Articles about the system present in volumes 2 to 10 of Complete works of Dr. K.C.Varadachari were identified and are planned to be published in the second edition of Complete works of Dr. K.C.Varadachari volume 1.

Current Work being done by Imperience

·         A set of mind maps based on the topics in the trainers manual is being developed

·         A set of slides based on the book Sri Babuji Maharaj – A sketch is being developed to be used in the introductory course

·         Publishing of the reviews of Rev. Dr. K. C. Varadachari published in The Hindu newspaper is planned.

·         Work on ‘Sruti’ in telugu has been completed and is undergoing review.

·         A biography on the life of SriRamchandraji Maharaj is being planned.

·         A course on ‘Hinduism’ with slides prepared from the book is being planned

Imperience is the institution of the aspirants in the path of the great Master Sri Ramchandraji Maharaj of Shahjahanpur who has given humanity the greatest boon of Pranahuti and the Natural Path to suit the needs of the modern man. We owe it to Him and to posterity to establish the scientific basis of the system.  It is a collective effort of all the abhyasis of ISRC, and we request you to help us in improving the quality of collective service. 

Expenditure

During the current year 2012-2013, the expenditure incurred was Rs.1,40,000. This was met by the interest earned on the corpus which amounts to Rs.3,30,000   Balance of Rs.1,90,000 is available.
